IRP or regular plates?
IRP applies to qualified vehicles operating in two or more jurisdictions. If you run intrastate only, standard registration is normally what you need.
What records does IRP require?
Distance records per jurisdiction for the reporting period. Those same records feed IFTA, which is why the two are usually set up together.
